last day of southby and spent the first half sleeping and resting off the prior three days. spent the night and subsequent day at tommyboy/mike survive’s place, where various musicians were staying. hung w //tense//, mariana having played the night before in four different projects. also met jose from sleeper hold who used to be in medio mutante with her. so much creative energy. this is mike from survive’s home studio.

headed downtown to catch the pop manifesto / acephale / transparent show. had just missed pure x. caught jamie woon. scene was really nice… rooftop, perfect weather. free drank. the #supermoon was out. dinner. laurel halo joined the bill last minute and truly tore it up. another guest played after her: the counting crows. yes, for real. missed the photo op.
